How Early Should I Book My Wedding Makeup & Hair?
1 year in advance is a popular booking time, however we do get some enquiries as late as 1 month beforehand. We recommend you book as soon as you have confirmed your date, especially if you are having a Saturday wedding as Saturdays fill up the fastest! Fridays & Sundays are also very popular. The sooner you book the higher the chance of securing your wedding date!
Will My Hair & Makeup Last All Day?
We use professional, high-end products and techniques to ensure your hair and makeup lasts from your ceremony through to the end of your celebration. Longevity is influenced by factors such as skin type, hair texture, and preparation. During your trial, we refine your look and provide personalised recommendations to ensure the best possible result on the day. We also guide you and your bridal party on how to prepare your skin and hair in advance, helping everything apply beautifully and hold throughout the day. If needed, we will suggest adjustments or enhancements, such as hair extensions, to achieve your desired style.
How Long Will Hair & Makeup Take?
We typically allow 45–60 minutes per person, per service (hair or makeup), to ensure a calm, well-paced experience and a beautiful, lasting result.
For tighter timelines, we can work more efficiently at around 30 minutes per person where required. Timing may vary depending on the style and level of detail involved.
Once we understand your preferences, we will create a tailored schedule for your morning. A hair and makeup trial is also highly beneficial, allowing us to refine your look and accurately plan timing ahead of your wedding day.
